Reverend Lynn S. Godette

Personal:

Lynn is married to Gerald O. Godette. They have three children, Scott, Geralyn & Gerald (Alex) and 5 grandchildren. She is currently the pastor of St. Paul AME Zion Church, Aurora, NC and serves as the Beaufort District Youth Choir Director and Health Ministries Coordinator. 

Education:

1977 graduate of West Carteret High School and a graduate of Durham College with a degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. Extensive training in the area of Hospital Regulatory and Reimbursement Compliance.

Employment:

She is employed by Carteret General Hospital (30 years). She is a certified Patient Access Manager and currently holds the position of Director of Compliance were she is a teacher and interpreter of government regulations as it related to healthcare. Chairperson of the Hospital Corporate Compliance Board, member of the LookOut for Tomorrow Committee (The employee branch of the hospital’s foundation) and N2E Work Group Leader.
